The One Day Workshop on “Life Craft: The Art & Heart of Essential Skills” organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Kannur Salafi B.Ed. College on 14th March 2024 proved to be an enriching and insightful experience for all participants. The workshop aimed at equipping teacher students with essential life skills necessary for personal and professional growth.

The session commenced at 9:50 AM with a prayer, setting the tone for a day of learning and reflection. Mrs. Riji Vijayan, the Coordinator of IQAC, extended a warm welcome to all participants, emphasizing the significance of the workshop in enhancing their skill sets and preparing them for the challenges ahead.

Dr. Naseerali MK, the Principal of Kannur Salafi B.Ed. College, inaugurated the event and underscored the importance of such workshops in the holistic development of teacher students. He emphasized that acquiring essential life skills is as crucial as academic knowledge for educators, as it enables them to effectively navigate the complexities of the educational landscape.

The highlight of the workshop was the engaging sessions led by the esteemed resource person, Mr. Vishnu Prasad M V. Mr. Vishnu Prasad, a certified Soft Skills, Life Skills, and Master Trainer, currently serving as the Head of Training at Team INSPIRE, Srishti Campus, captivated the audience with his expertise and dynamic approach.

Throughout the day, Mr. Vishnu Prasad conducted highly interactive sessions covering a wide spectrum of essential skills including Life Skills, Soft Skills, and Work Skills. He employed various activities, case studies, and group discussions to foster active participation and experiential learning among the attendees.

The workshop provided participants with practical insights and strategies to enhance their communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and emotional intelligence. Mr. Vishnu Prasad emphasized the importance of continuous self-improvement and lifelong learning in the fast-evolving professional landscape.
