Resource Mobilisation Policy
KANNUR SALAFI B.Ed. COLLEGE is a new venture started by ISLAHI TRUST in 2007. The college is situated 15 kms from Kannur at Villagemukku near Kudukkimotta,Kuttiattoor Panchayath. The teacher education institution aims at improving the condition of socially and educationally backward children of this area of Malabar.
As a self financing institution, Kannur Salafi B.Ed. College derives its financial support from the
1) managing committee
2) Donations
3) Parent-Teacher Association
4)Alumni Association funds.
This institution operates through a decentralized administration, collaboratively involving the Parent body, Managing Committee, Principal, committees, and institution wings. Together, they diligently mobilize and utilize funds, upholding an unwavering commitment to care and transparency in all related activities, aligning closely with the institution’s vision and mission for accountability and transparency.
Funds from the Managing Committee are utilized mostly for the development of infrastructural facilities and day-to-day expenses of the Institution. The managing committee’s account is audited every year in the month of April.
Contributions from Alumni Association are utilized for the development of the basic needs of the Institution, empowerment of alumni association and welfare of the needy alumni members.
Islahi Trust, a non governmental agency, granted funds for research purposes of faculty members from 2022 onwards.
For inhouse support staff funds are collected from each member from 2020 onwards for the staff well-being.
Various awards are given to the students who excel in B.Ed. examinations from management funds.
