Overview: On March 19, 2024, Kannur Salafi B.Ed. College organized a comprehensive theatre workshop titled “Ensemble” for the B.Ed. 2023-2025 batch. The workshop aimed to provide students with a multifaceted understanding of theatre arts through activity-based modules. The event was held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Conference Hall of the college.

Workshop Activities: The workshop encompassed various activities designed to explore different dimensions of theatre arts. The activities were facilitated by the chief resource persons, Raghunathan N. and Suneesh Vadakkumbadan, who brought their expertise and experience from ‘Padavu’ Creative Theatre.

  1. Introduction to Theatre Arts: The workshop commenced with an introduction to the fundamentals of theatre arts, including acting, stagecraft, and storytelling. Students were provided with insights into the importance of expression, body language, and voice modulation in theatrical performances.
