Kannur Salafi B.Ed College celebrated Christmas with great joy and enthusiasm on 20th December 2024. The campus was adorned with festive decorations, and beautiful cribs depicting the nativity scene were the centerpiece, adding to the spirit of the season.
The program began with a warm welcome by Ms. Anaswara N, setting the tone for the celebrations. Principal Dr. Sobha S inaugurated the event, sharing her thoughts on the significance of Christmas and the values of love, peace, and unity that it represents.
Faculty members Ms. Vijisha C.P., Ms. Sudha M., and Ms. Riji Vijayan delivered heartfelt speeches about the essence of Christmas, emphasizing the importance of spreading kindness and joy during this festive time.
A cake-cutting ceremony followed, symbolizing the unity and togetherness of the college community. The highlight of the program was the grand entry of Santa Claus, spreading cheer and distributing sweets, which brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
The celebration featured a variety of cultural performances that showcased the talent and enthusiasm of the students and faculty. The carol singing by the faculty members was a particularly special and memorable part of the event, filling the hall with melodious Christmas tunes. Colorful dance performances by students captivated the audience with their energy and vibrancy, adding to the festive mood.
