
Kannur Salafi B.Ed College, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a Faculty Development Program on “New Trends in Research and Practice” on April 11, 2025, at the college Conference Hall.
The session was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. M. A. Sudhir, UGC Emeritus Professor, Department of Education, Gandhigram Rural Institute, Tamil Nadu, who served as the resource person for the program. His vast academic expertise and experience in the field of education enriched the session with insightful perspectives on evolving research methodologies and current practices in teacher education.
The program commenced with a warm welcome address by the Principal, Dr. Sobha S, who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to host such a scholarly session and welcomed the chief guest and all faculty members.
Dr. Sudhir’s session was highly interactive and intellectually stimulating. He engaged the participants in meaningful discussions on contemporary research paradigms, emerging trends in educational practices, and the need for innovation and collaboration in educational research. His practical insights and real-world examples helped in bridging the gap between theory and practice, making the session both informative and engaging.
