
The Women Cell of Kannur Salafi B.Ed College organized a vibrant programme to celebrate World Daughters’ Day on 22 September 2025. The event aimed to highlight the value of daughters in society and to promote gender equality through creative and inspiring activities.
The celebration commenced with an introductory speech by Mr. Nizamudeen from Social science option who emphasized the importance of empowering daughters and recognizing their contributions to family and community life. His address set a thoughtful tone for the day’s proceedings.
A variety of engaging activities followed, including a poster making competition, an experience sharing session, and a photography contest. Students actively participated, showcasing their artistic talents and sharing heartfelt reflections on the significance of daughters. Renniya From English option and Arya from Mathematics option shared their personal experiences, adding warmth and depth to the occasion.
To encourage creativity and participation, gifts were awarded to all winners of the poster making and photography competitions. The programme concluded on a cheerful note, with participants expressing appreciation for the opportunity to celebrate and honor daughters.
