With the cooperation of Kannur Salafi B.Ed. College and IQAC, an Anti- Ragging Awareness Campaign was successfully organized under the leadership of the Anti-Ragging Cell on 24/09/2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
In the presence of teachers and students, Sahala led the program as the anchor. She also explained the importance of organizing such a campaign in colleges. Rohini spoke about the objectives of the Anti-Ragging Cell, what ragging is, and the necessity for students to stand firmly against it. She also emphasized that ragging is illegal and highlighted the severe mental stress it causes to victims.
Athira led the students in taking the Anti-Ragging Pledge, committing to refrain from ragging and to promote a safe environment for all. To better understand the effects and impact of ragging, a short film was screened. And
to strengthen the determination of students and teachers to raise their voice against ragging, a signature campaign was also held with the slogan:
“Be a Change Maker – Make Our College Ragging Free.”
The executive members – Marwa, Athira, Rohini, Sahala, and Arya – along with Rahul Sir, Anjali Miss, and others, extended their wholehearted cooperation. Through their collective efforts, the program succeeded in spreading awareness among students, teachers, and non-teaching staff under the leadership of the Anti-Ragging Cell.
