Our one-day trip to Wayanad was a truly memorable experience! We started early in the morning at 6:00 AM from our college, filled with excitement and good vibes. The journey itself was full of laughter, music, and endless conversations a perfect start to a great day.
Our first stop was Enn Ooru, a unique tribal village that gave us a deep insight into the lives and culture of Wayanad’s indigenous communities. Surrounded by nature and tradition, the place had a peaceful vibe. Walking through the village, learning about their customs, and seeing their way of life up close was both inspiring and humbling.
Next, we visited Pookode Lake, a beautiful freshwater lake nestled among the hills and trees. The calm water, the cool breeze, and the stunning greenery made it a perfect place to relax. Some of us enjoyed boating, while others took time to just sit back and enjoy the view. It was nature at its finest.
Our final destination was Karapuzha Park, near the Karapuzha Dam. The park was well-maintained, with lovely gardens and open spaces. The view of the dam and surrounding hills was absolutely scenic a perfect spot to wind down, click some group photos, and enjoy the cool evening air.
By the end of the day, we were tired but happy, carrying back lots of beautiful memories and stronger bonds with our friends. Wayanad gave us a perfect blend of nature, culture, and joy a day we’ll always cherish!
