The College Union and Fine Arts Association of Kannur Salafi B.Ed College was inaugurated on 9th October 2025 at the college conference hall. The event was conducted under the title “CONCORDIA”, symbolizing unity and harmony among students.
The formal function commenced with a prayer followed by a welcome speech delivered by Mr. Fasil, General Secretary of the College Union.
Ms. Raniyya U.P., Chairperson of the College Union, delivered the presidential address, highlighting the importance of student leadership and cultural participation in fostering a vibrant campus life.
The parental address was delivered by Dr. Ashraf T.P., who appreciated the efforts of the union members in organizing such a meaningful event and encouraged students to actively engage in creative and leadership activities.
The inaugural address of the College Union was delivered by Dr. K. M. Bharathan, Registrar, Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University. In his inspiring speech, he emphasized the significance of student unions in nurturing democratic values and developing professional and personal skills among future teachers.
The Fine Arts Association was inaugurated by the renowned artist Younus Neerchal (Ishal Kan). In his address, he spoke about the power of art in shaping human emotions, culture, and education. His motivating words encouraged students to explore their artistic talents and use art as a medium of expression and social connection.

The event was marked by enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members. The inauguration was followed by a series of cultural performances, including songs, dances, and skits presented by the students, adding colour and joy to the occasion.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the chief guests, faculty, and students for making the event a grand success.
