Kannur Salafi B.Ed College successfully organized a Learning Aid Workshop on 24 November 2025, showcasing the creativity and pedagogical skills of the teacher trainees. The workshop was conducted to impart hands-on experience in the preparation and effective use of teaching-learning materials for classroom instruction.
Teacher trainees of the 2024–26 batch actively participated in the workshop. Students from various optional subjects—English, Malayalam, Mathematics, Natural Science and Social Science—prepared a wide range of innovative learning aids suitable for different levels of secondary classes. The aids included charts, working models, flash cards, concept maps, 3D models, puzzles and activity-based instructional tools. The exhibition reflected the imaginative thinking and instructional competence of the trainees.
Students from Salafi English Medium School and Kanjirod AUP School visited the exhibition as part of the program. They explored the displayed materials with great interest and curiosity. Teacher trainees interacted with them and explained the purpose, working mechanism and classroom relevance of each learning aid, helping the school students understand concepts more clearly. The visit was highly informative and beneficial for them.
The Learning Aid Workshop 2025 served as a platform for teacher trainees to apply theoretical knowledge into practical implementation, enhancing their teaching skills and creativity. The program was highly productive and inspiring for all participants.
