
Kannur Salafi B.Ed College observed Constitution Day on 26 November 2025 at the college conference hall, jointly organized by the IQAC and the Social Science Club. The programme was aimed at creating awareness among student teachers about the significance of the Indian Constitution and fostering constitutional values such as justice, liberty, equality and fraternity.
The event began with a brief introduction by Mrs. Rohini, who highlighted the historical relevance of Constitution Day and emphasized its role in shaping the democratic framework of India. Her address helped the audience understand the importance of upholding constitutional values in day-to-day life.
Following the introduction, Ms. Diya Shaji read out the Preamble of the Constitution. The recital created a sense of patriotism and responsibility among students and faculty, reminding everyone of the guiding principles of the nation. After this, a documentary presentation was shown, portraying the making of the Indian Constitution, the contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, and the need for constitutional awareness among citizens. The presentation was informative and enriching for the participants.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Rahul C.V., Assistant Professor of Malayalam, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, coordinators, participants and organizers for making the event meaningful and successful.
The observance of Constitution Day was an enriching experience that strengthened awareness about civic responsibility and democratic values among future educators.
