
The second-year students of Kannur Salafi B.Ed College conducted an educational tour to Hampi, Dandeli, and Gokarna from 2nd February to 6th February 2026. The tour was organized with the objective of providing students with experiential learning, cultural exposure, and opportunities for social bonding.
The journey began on 2nd February, and throughout the five days, the students visited several historically, culturally, and environmentally significant locations. At Hampi, students explored the rich heritage and architectural marvels of the Vijayanagara Empire, Vittala Temple, Virypaksha Temple, Mathangi Hills, Lotus Mahal Queens Bath etc. which greatly enhanced their understanding of Indian history and culture. The visit to Dandeli offered exposure to natural beauty and adventure activities like water rafting kayaking and rope activities, helping students appreciate environmental conservation and teamwork. The final destination, Gokarna, historical MIRJAN Fort and beach was also included. After that visited Muradeswhar Temple. after that students were in purchasing session and students enjoyed the trip.
The tour was successfully escorted by faculty members Mr. Rahul C.V. and Ms. Sudha M., whose guidance, care, and support ensured the safety and discipline of the students throughout the trip.
Overall, the tour was a great success and an enriching experience for all participants. It strengthened the bond between students and teachers and created lasting memories. The trip was educational, enjoyable, and truly memorable.
