



The Social Science optional group of Kannur Salafi B.Ed. College organized a field trip to Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary on 17th February 2026. The trip was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Sudha M., Assistant Professor in Social Science, along with 16 student teachers.
The field visit aimed to provide experiential learning and firsthand understanding of biodiversity, environmental conservation, and ecological balance. The sanctuary, known for its rich flora and fauna, offered students an opportunity to observe natural ecosystems closely and understand the importance of wildlife protection.
During the visit, students explored different areas of the sanctuary and learned about various plant species, wildlife habitats, and conservation efforts. The trip helped them connect theoretical concepts from Social Science with real-life environmental practices.
The experience was both educational and enjoyable. Students expressed great enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the visit. It was a wonderful and memorable experience that enhanced their awareness of environmental sustainability and the need to preserve natural resources.
The field trip concluded successfully, leaving the participants with valuable insights and practical knowledge relevant to their future teaching careers.
