




The Students’ Union of Kannur Salafi B.Ed. College organized a blessed Iftar gathering on 10 March 2026 (Tuesday) at 3:00 PM onwards in the college courtyard. The program was conducted as part of the spiritual observance of the holy month of Ramadan.
The event brought together students, teachers, and staff members in an atmosphere of unity, gratitude, and spiritual reflection. The gathering aimed to promote the values of Ramadan such as patience, compassion, generosity, and togetherness.
The program began with a brief welcome address by Mr Anas ,a representative of the Students’ Union. The program was chaired by Mrs Sudha M, Principal Incharge . Eminent Personalities from Kannur University, Sri. Pramod Vellachal, Syndicate Member, Kannur University, Prof. Joby K Jose, Registrar, KU, Dr. Jithesh, Controller of Examinations, Dr. Wilson VA, Development Officer., Sri. Sreejith, Private Secretary to Vice Chancellor, Dr. Anil Ramachandran, HoD, School of Sports Science, Dr. Rakhi Raghavan, Ex- Syndicate Member and Management Representatives Abdul Salam (chairman), Dr. A Basheer ( secretary), Administrative officer T P Abdulla, Visiting Faculty Dr T P Ashraf, Ward Member Mrs Revathi, CH Centre representatives Ashraf (chairman), Shamsudheen ( secretary), Navodaya Club Members, Sri Prasad, Smt Divya, Sri Sasi, Head Master of Koodali High school Sri. ManojKumar, Chattukapara HM Sri Sasidharan attended the function.
A short reminder on the significance of Ramadan and message was delivered by Dr Sulfikkar who told about the importance of empathy and charity during the fasting month.
As sunset approached, the participants broke their fast together with dates and refreshments. The Iftar meal was arranged beautifully, and everyone joined together in a spirit of brotherhood and harmony.
The event strengthened the bond among students and teachers and reminded everyone of the true essence of Ramadan—sharing, caring, and spiritual growth. The Students’ Union expressed gratitude to the college management, staff members, and volunteers who contributed to the successful organization of the Iftar gathering.
