Kannur Salafi B.Ed College organized a Breast Cancer Awareness class on 10th October 2024. The session was aimed at educating students on the importance of early detection and awareness regarding breast cancer. The event began with a warm welcome from Principal Dr. Sobha S, who introduced the guest speaker, Dr. Jayasree, the Principal of SUM College of Teacher Education.
Dr. Jayasree led an informative and interactive session, supported by a PowerPoint presentation, which covered key aspects of breast cancer, including prevention, symptoms, and treatment options. The interactive nature of the class encouraged students to participate actively, and many provided positive feedback on the session, noting how beneficial and engaging the information was.
The event proved to be a valuable learning experience, equipping students with critical knowledge about breast cancer awareness and prevention.
