College organized an Orientation Session for the newly admitted B.Ed. 2026–2028 Batch on 21 July 2026 at 10.00 a.m. in the College Conference Hall. The programme was conducted with the objective of welcoming the fresh entrants and inspiring them to embark on their professional journey with dedication, commitment, and a positive outlook.
The session commenced with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome to the students. The programme was led by Dr. Seena R. O., Principal, Kannur Salafi B.Ed. College, who also served as the Resource Person. Delivering an inspiring talk on “The Heart of Teaching,” she emphasized that teaching is not merely a profession but a noble mission that shapes individuals and society. She highlighted the values of compassion, integrity, empathy, professionalism, and lifelong learning, encouraging the students to cultivate these qualities throughout their teacher education programme.
Dr. Seena also acquainted the students with the vision and mission of the institution, academic expectations, internship programmes, co-curricular activities, and the importance of maintaining professional ethics. She motivated the students to actively participate in all academic and extension activities organized by the college and to strive for excellence in both personal and professional life.
The interactive session enabled the students to clarify their doubts regarding the B.Ed. programme and the opportunities available during their course of study. The enthusiastic participation of the students reflected their eagerness to begin their journey towards becoming competent and responsible teachers.
The orientation programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Principal, faculty members, IQAC, and all the participants for making the programme meaningful and successful.
