STUDY TOUR 2023
The study tour organized by Kannur Salafi B Ed College took place from 15th March to 25th March 2023, covering significant cultural and educational destinations in Delhi, Agra, and Amritsar. A total of 30 students, accompanied by three teaching staff members, participated in this enriching experience.Mrs. Sudha M, Tour coordinator crafted the tour itinerary, considering the educational and cultural objectives of the trip.
Objectives:
- To expose students to diverse cultural and educational aspects of different regions in India.
- To enhance students’ understanding of historical and architectural significance in Delhi, Agra, and Amritsar.
- To provide students with practical insights into the educational systems and practices in these regions.
Itinerary:
Delhi (15th March to 18th March 2023):
Visits to historical monuments: Red Fort, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Birla Mandir, theenmoorti Bhavan, Nehru Museum, Parliament & Rshtapathi Bhavan
Educational institutions tour: Interaction with faculty and students at renowned colleges and universities.
Cultural exposure: Attending a traditional cultural show and exploring local markets.
Agra (19th March to 21st March):
Taj Mahal and Agra Fort: In-depth exploration of the historical and architectural significance.
Educational exchange: Interactions with local educational institutions to understand their methodologies and practices.
Cultural immersion: Participation in local traditions and cuisines.
Amritsar (22nd March to 25th March):
Golden Temple: Understanding the religious and cultural importance.
Educational visits: Interactions with educational authorities and visits to prominent schools.
Wagah Border ceremony: Witnessing the cultural exchange at the border.
Reflection and debriefing sessions: Summarizing the experiences gained during the tour.
Outcomes:
Cultural Exposure: Students gained a deep appreciation for the rich cultural diversity of India, experiencing traditions, cuisines, and local practices in each city.
Educational Insights: Interactions with students and faculty from different educational institutions provided valuable insights into diverse teaching methodologies and practices.
