INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS DAY

On November 17, 2023, INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS DAY themed morning assembly was conducted by the Natural Science Department. The assembly had a peaceful environment where students could focus their attention.

The assembly was hosted by Shaniba which gave an energetic start to the day. She did her role very well and her words made each one of us think deeper.

Prayer is the raising of one’s mind and heart to God or the requesting of good things from God. So to seek the blessings from the Almighty, Anagha E and Jugunu led us with a beautiful prayer song.

To showcase the love towards our country, Ayfoona led us with the pledge.

Anusree helped us know about the current happenings in detail.

17th November was celebrated as International Students Day. As a part of this, Anjali gave us details about this day . The aim of the day is to honour the students and to raise awareness of the challenges facing us today. International Students’ Day is celebrated on November 17, the anniversary of the Nazi invasion of a university in Prague in 1939. The Nazis imprisoned nearly a thousand students, closed the university, and killed and tortured several others.

Anjali ended by hoping for the bright future of students worldwide and she urged the assembly to pursue learning throughout life
To enrich our vocabulary, a new word was introduced by Vishnupriya. The word she introduced was ‘Bask’ which means ‘to take pleasure from something that makes you feel good’.

And at the end of the assembly Mr. Vishwanathan, Assistant Professor of Malayalam Department shared his views and feedback regards the morning session.
