28 November 2023 (Tuesday) began with a warm welcome by the English Department. After the welcoming, prayer was done by Shahbaz with a melodious prayer song. As part of the innovative ideas put forth by various departments, we introduced a new concept called “ESL Activities”.ESL exercises are a controlled way to practice a particular language aspect. Instead, ESL activities engage in discussion and communication focused on a goal. We made this concept more interesting through a game where we gave certain jumbled words related to travel.
Students became more curious to find the answers and the winners were Ayfoona’s team. A small gift was also presented to them.After the game, a brief idea about the concept was given by Faheema and she even did a cute demonstration. This made the session even more colourful and interesting. The assembly was wrapped up with this small yet informative session.
