Kannur Salafi B.Ed College celebrated National Mathematics Day on 19th December 2024 in the college conference hall. The program was organized by the Mathematics Department and showcased their dedication to promoting mathematical knowledge and its significance.
The event commenced with a PowerPoint presentation by the Mathematics Department. The presentation was highly informative and introduced the audience to several prominent Indian mathematicians and their contributions to the field. It effectively highlighted the rich history of mathematics in India and its global influence.
Following the presentation, an engaging quiz program was conducted using the Quizzes platform. The quiz saw active participation from students, making the session both interactive and enjoyable.
The winners of the quiz competition were awarded gifts by the Principal, Dr. Sobha S. In her concluding remarks, Dr. Sobha emphasized the importance of National Mathematics Day and expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the Mathematics Department in organizing such a meaningful and enriching program.
