KANNUR UNIVERSITY KALOLSAVAM 2023

Introduction:Kannur University Kalolsavam, held from March 1 to March 5, 2023 at Brennen College, Thalassery, witnessed enthusiastic participation from 19 students from our college across various events. This cultural extravaganza showcased the diverse talents of the students and provided a platform for them to exhibit their skills.Objectives of University Kalolsavam:

  • The primary objective of the Kalolsavam is to celebrate and promote the rich cultural diversity within the university. The Kalolsavam aims to identify, nurture, and showcase the talents of students in diverse cultural and artistic domains.By organizing the Kalolsavam, the university aims to integrate academic and extracurricular activities, emphasizing the holistic development of students. This event serves as a platform where students can merge their academic knowledge with their artistic and cultural interests.Participation in Kalolsavam events fosters teamwork, collaboration, and healthy competition among students. It enhances their interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and the spirit of sportsmanship.The Kalolsavam provides a platform for cultural exchange among students from different departments and backgrounds. It promotes understanding, appreciation, and respect for diverse cultural traditions.

  • Participation and Achievements:A total of 19 students represented their respective departments in a variety of events ( off stage and on stage), contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the Kalolsavam. Notably, Ms.Varsha. K.V, 1st year student, a talented participant, secured the 2nd prize in the elocution competition, highlighting the exceptional speaking skills and oratory prowess of the students.In a commendable gesture acknowledging academic and cultural excellence, Dr. Vijayan Chalode, Principal Kannur Salafi B Ed college, honoured Ms. Varsha. K V   for her outstanding achievement. Dr. Chalode commended Ms. Varsha for her remarkable achievement and highlighted the importance of recognizing and celebrating individual accomplishments within the academic community. 

    Conclusion: Kannur University Kalolsavam 2023 was a resounding success, with active participation from 19 students of Kannur Salafi B Ed college, who showcased their talents in various cultural events. The event not only celebrated diversity but also fulfilled its objectives of fostering talent, integrating academic and extracurricular activities, enhancing interpersonal skills, and promoting cultural exchange. Varsha’s achievement in the elocution competition added an extra layer of accomplishment to the university’s cultural festival. The Kalolsavam continues to play a crucial role in shaping the cultural landscape of Kannur University.
