The inauguration of the InnovateEd Media Hub at Kannur Salafi B.Ed. College on September 7, 2023, marked a remarkable step towards embracing modern multimedia technology and revolutionizing content development in the field of education.
The prestigious event was graced by Dr. K.K. Shine, Chairman of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) in New Delhi, SRC, who inaugurated this cutting-edge facility.
In attendance were esteemed personalities including Prof. Pramod Vellachal, a Syndicate Member from Kannur University, Dr. Vijaykumar R., the former Director of the National Resource Centre and Eastern Regional Committee of NCTE, New Delhi, Dr. Naseerali M.K., the Principal of the college, Dr. AA Basheer, Secretary of the Islahi Trust, M.M. Haris, the Manager of the College, Mr. Nijilesh C., Vice-president of Kuttiatoor Grampanchayath, and Sri. Abdullla, the Administrative Officer.
The InnovateEd Media Hub is designed as a state-of-the-art e-content development studio to promote innovation in education and content creation. It features a Green Screen for creative video production, a high-quality Digital Camera for professional recording, and an advanced lighting setup that ensures exceptional video quality. Tripods are available for stable camera positioning, and lapel interview microphones guarantee crystal-clear audio during interviews. For versatile audio recording, a wireless studio microphone is provided.
The hub also offers dedicated seating arrangements for conducting interviews with important persons, making it an invaluable resource for journalism and communication students. Furthermore, an interactive whiteboard and projector are available for dynamic and engaging presentations, while a traditional blackboard provides versatility in teaching and presentations.
