The Food Fest held at Kannur Salafi B.Ed College on the 4th of December 2023 was a delightful celebration of culinary diversity, creativity, and cultural heritage. Organized by various optional subject students, each showcasing their unique themes and specialties, the event provided a vibrant platform for students to exhibit their culinary skills and cultural pride.
The Food Fest featured a captivating array of themes, with each optional subject group presenting their distinct culinary offerings and thematic decorations.
The Malayalam optional students took the theme “Madhura Vibhavangal” and their stall was adorned with vibrant floral decorations and traditional artwork, creating an inviting ambiance reminiscent of Kerala’s rich cultural heritage.
English optional Students came with- “Steamed Food Items with steamed delicacies, emphasizing health and nutrition.Their stall featured elegant minimalist decor, reflecting the simplicity and elegance of their theme.
Social Science Students prepared “Palaharangal” highlighting the cultural significance of food in social gatherings.Maths optional Students arranged – “Nombuthura Items”
Natural Science optional Students prepared – “Traditional Food (Thattukada)”.
Each optional subject group demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and creativity in decorating their respective areas, infusing them with thematic elements and cultural motifs.
Principal Dr Naseerali M k along with Salafi English Medium school principal Mrs.Sheema tasted the food items and all faculty members and non teaching staff also enjoyed the food fest with students.
