Kannur Salafi B.Ed College marked the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking with a significant event aimed at raising awareness among students and the community about the dangers of drug abuse organized by the IQAC Cell in association with the Anti-Narcotic Cell.. The program, held on 26th June 2024, was inaugurated by Sri. A V Satheesh, a renowned trainer from the Assistant Police Commissioner’s Office, Kannur.
Sri. A V Satheesh, an expert in drug abuse prevention and enforcement, was the chief guest and speaker for the event. He inaugurated the session with a thought-provoking speech that drew upon his extensive experience in the field. Sri. Satheesh shared stories from his career, highlighting real-life cases that underscored the devastating effects of drug abuse on individuals and families. His narratives provided a sobering reminder of the human cost of addiction.
