The programme commenced with a warm welcome and an introduction by the anchor, setting a meaningful tone for the event. An insightful introductory speech was delivered by Vismaya, highlighting the growing menace of drug abuse, its impact on individuals, families, and society, and the importance of collective responsibility in creating a drug-free future. This was followed by a documentary presentation by Nafiya, which effectively portrayed the devastating consequences of substance abuse. The documentary created awareness among the audience and encouraged them to reflect on the importance of making healthy and responsible life choices. To foster creativity and active participation, a Slogan Competition was conducted by Rafi. The participants enthusiastically presented thought-provoking slogans that emphasized the significance of staying away from drugs and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The competition witnessed active involvement and conveyed powerful anti-drug messages. A Candle Light Pledge, coordinated by Vyshna, formed the most solemn and inspiring part of the programme. Holding lighted candles, all participants collectively pledged to reject drugs, uphold healthy values, and spread awareness against substance abuse. The pledge symbolized hope, unity, and commitment towards building a drug-free society. The programme concluded successfully with all the scheduled events being conducted smoothly and as planned. The active participation of students and faculty, along with the coordinated efforts of the organizers, contributed to the overall success of the event. The programme effectively fulfilled its objective of creating awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and inspiring everyone to become responsible ambassadors for a healthier and drug-free future.
